Our programs

Classes built around how kids actually learn

Small groups, certified teachers, and hands-on learning for homeschool families in Fort McMurray. Ages 5–12.

How it works

One membership. Flexible sessions.

Every student starts with an annual membership ($119/year), then books individual sessions at $22 each — no bundles, no pressure. Come as often or as little as works for your family.

Classes run in small groups of up to 10 students, split by age so the pace and content always fits. Our station-based model keeps kids moving, engaged, and working at their own skill level — not a fixed grade assumption.

Age groups

Two groups, one community

🌱
Ages 5–8

Junior Group

Foundational skills in math, science, and language arts — delivered through stations, movement, and play-based discovery. Young learners build confidence and curiosity in a structured, nurturing environment.

  • Math foundations through games and manipulatives
  • Early literacy and language arts activities
  • Hands-on science exploration
  • Movement-based learning stations
🚀
Ages 9–12

Senior Group

Deeper exploration across subjects with real experiments, collaborative projects, and skill-level-based learning. Older students tackle more complex concepts while building independence and critical thinking.

  • Advanced math and problem-solving challenges
  • Science experiments and STEM projects
  • Writing, research, and language arts
  • Collaborative group projects
Our approach

The station-based model

Rather than sitting at desks for a full session, students rotate through a series of hands-on learning stations. Each station targets a different subject or skill, keeping energy high and attention focused.

Within each station, students work at their own skill level — not a fixed grade assumption. This means a child who is advanced in math but still developing in reading gets the right challenge in both areas, every session.

Week 1

Meet the Co-op

Students kick off the year getting comfortable in their new learning community. This class builds classroom routines and new vocabulary, along with hands-on counting and sorting using real classroom materials — all through games, not worksheets.

2
Week 2

All About Me as a Learner

A fun, personal week! Students explore their own names through letter tracing and a self-portrait, while building early math skills through hands-on pattern-building with colourful blocks.

3
Week 3

Books, Stories, and Listening

Story time comes alive. Students build listening comprehension and story sequencing through a read-aloud, a rhyming movement game, and a puppet-making craft used to retell their favourite part of the story.

4
Week 4

School Tools and Organization

Students become classroom detectives — counting and sorting real school tools through a hands-on scavenger hunt, plus a fine-motor cutting-and-gluing craft project.
